Welcome to Valley Justice Theater

VALLEY JUSTICE THEATER

NEXT MEETING: TUESDAY, MAY 1st, 2012 FLORENCE, MA CALL FOR DETAILS

The Valley Justice Theater is a collective that works toward the following goals:

1) To write and perform short political pieces for various uses: classrooms, conferences, rallies and demonstrations, political gatherings of all kinds, and anywhere else that people ask us to perform

2) To write and perform provocative theater on the street with a justice message (in the guerrilla theater tradition)

3) To produce a staged political show every year or two (perhaps beginning with The Exonerated)

4) To gather together to have fun, develop our writing and acting skills, play theater games, and support each other's theatrical work for social change

5) To support each other's individual projects, such as justice related plays we may be writing, producing, or performing in outside the group

We meet Tuesday nights about once a month from 6:30-8:30 in Florence. Please call for more information and directions. Everyone is welcome.

If you can't come to meetings, please contact us about how you can still be involved writing, acting, directing, or producing!

  1. Is this something that's still going on? You had me at "street theater." This is something I've been thinking about for as long as I can remember, and I would love to be a part of it or know just what you've done with it. I'm on the West Coast so, I think it's a long shot, but I can't believe that this is being done. So clever and approachable. I love it! I don't know if anyone will see this comment, but I hope to hear back from somebody. :)
